I'm kind of lagging in saves and would like to take a gamble on someone who may close soon. Ryan Wagner and Borowski are gone. Any ideas on who could be closing soon?

Marte? If you are talking about Chicago's situation than it's already crowded with two closers.

Don't know how soon but I am willing to be that Chad Orvella will be closing for Rays sometime this Summer and be the closer going forward for a rapidly improving team.
Chad's has had obscenely good minor league numbers this year (and last) and he looks to me like a right handed version of Billy Wagner. Ex- shortstop can really bring it and he has very good control.
Put this guy on your watchlist and be ready to snag him next time you hear Danys Baez rumors...and they will come.

Dunno if the Rays can put up the numbers to warrant a save opportunity. Kinda like playing the Pirates bullpen.

Dempster has been given the closers job for the Cubs at least until Borowski is ready to go again. I said pre-season that he could be very effective in the role and I'm even more confident now.
If he's available I would grab him quick.

Even a poor team can create a 30-40 save closer. I think the Rays are going to get better very quickly. Look at how quickly the Jays and Orioles have turned it around. A little nip here, a tuck there and Delmon Young in RF can make all the difference in the world for TB.

Would that be the one who has the closer with the second highest number of saves in the game?
