He may be starting to come around. He's just too good a hitter to continue to struggle that bad. Hopefully this will give him a shot of confidence.

Worse numbers then last year, but solid overall.
35 hr's , 105 RBI's, .290, 90 runs
I didn't use any formula, just my opinion. I think he will pick it up, but not by much.

I think he'll start to turn it around. He's got a quick bat and a compact swing. His numbers last year showed what kind of hitter he can be. He's definately struggled so far this year, but a period of adjustment to a new team, new park, and new league was expected. I expect something like 300-38-110-110-5 with some upside for 320-44-120. He needs to settle down at the plate and stop swinging at junk pitches.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

He's gotta come back, I drafted him too high. Plus, who will lead my Mariners second place in the Wild Card race if he doesn't come around?

the funny thing was he said before this road trip that he 'had a feeling' he would start hitting again versus the red sox and yankees. WTF

too bad he has to face Randy tonight. That man set a hitter back to little league - hopefully, Beltre can hang in there and hit a few balls hard.

hopefully this will build some of Adrian "Oh-fer" Beltre's confidence. Still would like him to hit a dinger or two here and there but I'll take what I can get right now.
