Anyone else looking at Russ Adams? Kid is on fire - especially in a position where there are only 10 good people in the league. Any word on this kid?

I just picked him up because i'm desparate for SS help (effing Matsui. Breakout year my azz!!). Hoping he becomes what Jack Wilson was last year. Htting bottom of the order doesnt help him any but hopefully he'll still get his in a decent Jays hitting lineup.

Here's what sportingnews.com has to say about Russ in their latest update:
Adams started at shortstop and batted ninth on opening day, but he was out of the lineup tonight against lefty Scott Kazmir. John McDonald got the start in Adams' place.
Fantasy Source spin: We could be looking at a platoon situation here, with Adams, a lefthanded batter, getting the majority of at-bats. He's still worth a spot on an AL-only team.

I've been high on this guy since before the Drafts this year. I think he's a nice sleeper right now and I'd keep an eye on his situation. If he gets to play regularly I think he becomes a solid option in deep leagues. He had terrific numbers during his call-up last season in 72 at bats, and he was a first round draft pick by Ricciardi in 2002's "Moneyball" draft.
