When WW become FA

Does anyone know when Yahoo changes WW players to FA? Dempster was a FA until the 9th in my league and here it is 3:20 MST on the 10th and they haven't release him.

This is the last time I stay up to save my WW position!

I'm assuming you're talking about Yahoo! ... It could be anywhere until 6 AM pacific or later...sometimes I've seen one player clear waivers a couple hours before another player in the same league...yahoo! is kinda crazy.

Okay it's now 3:50 am and I got him. It's just too bad that I only now noticed he's got HORRIBLE numbers in his 1-15 and 16-30 pitcher counts....

at least you didn't have to use a priority for him then.

He's still on waivers in my yahoo league, interestingly enough. If he clears I'm taking a chance also.

Normally the change from WW to FA happens somewhere between 5 AM and 6:30 AM EST. I know because when I work midnights I always keep refreshing the screen to see when it happens...then BOOM!

It says on the site that all transactions are completed at 11:59 PM PST.

Meaning, trades, waver expires etc. All end at that time and should be available at 12AM Pst of the day mentioned.

So if the waver says W(7th) it should be available at 12AM PST on the 7th.

So you have to adjust your time accordingly.

Nah...Yahoo is delayed...I've had cases where it says 12 and I check at 2 and it's still on WW.

Agreed. What Yahoo says, and what Yahoo actually does is two different things sometimes. I've seen trades not go through until well after 6AM Central time and the same goes for waivers. Just one of those things.
