no because the dodgers wont trade him.

The Dodgers traded away their ace setup man last year as well as their team leaders. Anything is possible with DePodesta.

And if the Red Sox have Mariano's number because he's faced them so many times then how come the Dodgers don't have Hoffman's number yet?

You really just can't stand to hear the words "Mariano Rivera" without bringing up Trevor Hoffman, can you?

Yes, but DePodesta traded away their ace setup man away last year with the idea that Brazoban could step right into that role. Which he has done. I doubt they would trade Brazoban with no one ready to step into that role...

I hope the Yanks go out and steal another Braves pitcher to close. Can anyone say Mr. Kolb. Lord knows I hope someone takes him.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Mo has faced the Red Sox extra 14 times in the last two years and many more over the years because of the playoffs. The Yanks and Red Sox have played each other 52 times in the last two years. Absurd. They need to ditch the unbalanced scheduling.

look at his game log, he's been fine recently, and he's got 9 saves. isn't that tied for the ML lead or something?

Maybe the Dodgers don't have his number but the Yankees sure as hell do.
