The official Craig Biggio HOF ballot

I'm watching the Astros playing the Braves today and the announcers can't decide if Biggio should be a Hall of Famer. This is a no-brainer to me - Craig Biggio is without question on his way to the Hall of Fame. He has been an all-star as a catcher and as a second basemen. His longevity numbers are breaking records daily. He has over 225 HR's, 575 doubles, 1000 RBI's, 1600 runs, 400 stolen bases, a lifetime .373 OPB, and a lifetime .287 batting average. He's been on the DL once in his 18 year career and at 39 years old he still looks like a young buck the way he plays the game. This is a true ironman of today (on the same team his whole career) and rightfully deserves his place in the exaulted Hall of Fame.

One other important stats:

2674 Hits.

If he gets to 3,000 he's a shoe in.
BTW, there are only a handful of players with 3,000 hits and 400 or more SB.

To save everyone who was in the debate last season from having to repost their thoughts here are the older debates.

Original debate it gets started on Biggio around the middle of the thread. Good debate all the way through.

We've had these official polls before. Without a doubt is Biggio a Hall of Famer. Absolutely no question.
