How Much Better is Inge Than.............

Jason Phillips? I am thinking of trading away Inge for pitching help but I would have to pick up Phillips as my second catcher. I feel Phillips would be a pretty decent second catcher. Is Inge that much better than him? Thoughts?

P.S. This is not a trade question so please don't jump on me for posting in this forum. I am just trying to get an idea what people think the drop off between Inge and Phillips is.

I think its significant. I personally wouldn't want Phillips on my team unless it was a 20 team league or larger. Every team in your league will have you beat at the catcher position consistently.

Its a 12 team roto an we start 2 catchers. My number 1 is
Posada.

It's a 2-catcher league. There are 24 catchers on a squad. Basically, most starting catchers in the league should be on one squad or another. Inge is substantially better than Phillips, but I'd take Phillips as a #2 option behind a stud like Posada.

Yeah sorry didn't see that it was a two catcher league when i first replyed. I agree with above having phillips as your second catcher should be fine behind Posada.
