yeah. that was painful. he's my top pitcher in my 14-team cafe league, and with the rest of my staff already struggling (hopefully vazquez and a healthy benson can help rigth the ship. :-o

), this is devestating. i think i am going to be forced to bench him next week, but hopefully he gets this resolved quickly....

Would you guys ship him off for BRadke and Barmes? I'm really weak at IF and Barmes would be large imrpovement. This is a points league, W=10, L=-5, ER=H=BB=HR=-1, K=1. Thanks

No, as much as I like Barmes Schmidt still has the potentail to be a top 5 pitcher, and I expect him to finish as a top 10 pitcher still.

I just traded Mussina and Renteria for Schmidt and Guillen. I thought I was lucky to be upgrading bigtime at SP while likely breaking even at SS. However, after Moose's CG SO and Schmidt getting rocked things aren't going exactly as planned. It's a long season though... and as one of you mentioned before, having a top SP for even just 3 months could still be well worth it. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Moose pitched against Oakland.

The way there hitting these days thats like going against a JV team.

Hell even Kevin Brown pitched well against them.

Pitching well against Oak means nothing.

Just traded Schmidt and Taveras for The Unit. :-?

Wanted to get out from under him. All this talk of fatigue has me seeing flashes of Halladay last year.

If he thinks he has arm fatigue, why doesn't he just ask to be put on the 15 Day DL?
