Please set my batting order - MLB - PSP

Postby Chocolate Thunder » Sat May 07, 2005 4:13 pm

This really isn't a rate my team question but I wasn't sure which forum it belonged in. Anyways...

Also, to prelude this question with a disclaimer, this is a question about a videogame; however, it is a baseball question which requires no videogame knowledge to answer.

I am playing MLB for the Playstation Portable and I just traded for all of my fantasy players. I now have a very potent lineup with several leadoff hitters and I'm not sure of the best order. Please do me a favor and let me know how you would have these 9 bat.

C - Pudge
1B - Nevin
2B - Soriano
SS - Barmes
3B - Mora
OF - Pierre
OF - Abreu
OF - Damon
DH - Sosa

Also, if you are truly ambitious, you could also provide an alternate batting order with Garciapara or Bobby Crosby in at SS in place of Barmes but since they are on DL right now, I'm sticking with Barmes.

Any help in this appreciated. I realize how stupid it is, my fantasy team playing in a fantasy videogame; however, I'm puzzled as to the best way to have these group of nine come up to bat and interested in how you would line these guys up in comparison to my current lineup.

Thanks!

6- Pudge
7- Sosa
8- Nevin

I wish I could set that order

Harry, Rascal,

Thanks for the input. Hopefully this will get a few more replies and I can average out a lineup.

Rascal, I am using your lineup for now, we'll see how that goes, I checked the post that you linked to but did not have anything to recommend. This is my first season of fantasy baseball.

Harry, I showed your lineup to my fantasy team and Soriano was whining about batting 5th :-o so I had to go with Rascal's lineup for now :-)

Thanks again!

1. juan
2. soriano
3. mora
4. abreu
5. sosa
6. nevin
7. pudge
8. barmes
9. damon ( yes number 9)

i think thats the best lineup. juan will get on the soriano will get on. mora can knock them in. damon can bat 9th and get on base and set it up for the top of the order.

its more fun making your own lineup tho isnt it?

anywayz. if crosby was in i stilll have him bat 8th**. if it was nomar id have him take sosa's place and sosa bat 6, nevin 7, pudge 8, and damon 9th.

Thunder,

Thanks for your reply. I am glad the lineup has worked for you. Good luck in your first year of fantasy baseball.
