I've been scouring the waiver wire as well as pulling off a few trades to give this team a good mix of pitching/hitting as well as good keeper possibilities. What do you think for an outlook on this team, and what would you do to improve it...all suggestions will help. Thanks!

The team looks solid. I like the offense. Why isnt Turnbow starting?? I might trade 2 SPs for a mroe talented SP to get more talent in the rotation but you should contend in our league.

I really like this team. I think you are set with pitching when Sheets comes back healthy. You might want to upgrade your SS by trading some of your pitching depth. You may be able to get something for Patterson since he seems to be overrated by some team owners with his fast start.

Overall, a fantastic team. What were some of your most recent moves?

Thanks for the input, guys. As for your questions, I just picked Turnbow up off waivers and with weekly lineup changes haven't had a chance to insert him...still not sure I want to with the two Cordero's (I love Francisco, and he gets a ton of opportunities, and Chad's been lights out).

Moves: I've picked a ton of guys off waivers in the past 2-3 weeks, including Lane, Radke, Turnbow, Biggio and Patterson. In addition just this week I traded Randy Johnson and Kent for Boone, Sheets and Odalis Perez...I get the one true keeper (I'll have him for years, as opposed to Randy, who has maybe one more season of keeper in him), Odalis is a good plug while Sheets is on the DL and Boone won't hurt me too bad in that lineup.

As for Rollins, I've gotten that suggestion a few times but I just don't see it. I think he's a top-5 SS when the SB's are included. And noone's gonna give up Miggy right now so I'd rather stand pat.

Any other thoughts? As I said, leave a link and i'll answer yours.

Very solid well rounded team. I would trade Boone and Lane for a stud OF and use Biggio at 2B. Otherwise it's money.

Yeah, that's exactly what I've thought of doing but Boone hasn't done so well so I'd be selling low on him. I was actually thinking of going the other way: Biggio and either Lane or a starter for a big OF bat (trying to get Berkman now for Lane and Patterson).

Great team other than Lane. I think you could do a lot better, especially in a 6-team league. I'd deal one of your starters/Boone and Lane for a better outfielder, other than that your team looks good.
