Is Larry Walker now a part-time starter?

Getting sick of the nights off, or single pinch hit nights (0-1 usually). I carry one extra OF, and am not always around when lineups come out. Several times I've had Milton Bradley or Moises Alou on the bench and Larry ends up not playing.

Anyone with Cards insight know if the Walker on-again-off-again thing is going to continue?

Welcome to the managing world of Tony Larusa! He likes to get starts for all his players. He is more frustrating in regards to who his starting players will be than any other manager.

Surprise! Surprise! Walker's has been dinged up the last week or so. First it was a problem with his necki and now a groin strain.

I traded for Walker before the season started because I felt that with the Carsd he would have one last big year. I've been so disappointed with him, I dropped him this morning to activate Berkman.

Man, Walker's numbers against today's starter Adam Eaton are SICK... 4 HRs, 4 doubles, 5 walks in 29 career at bats!!!

Is it a safe bet to assume Larussa will start Larry today?



Appreciate any insight on today's lineup from anyone who might know.
