Scott Baker

Scott Baker is a avalible in my AL only . It doesn't look like he will get much of a chance in the rotation and could even get sent back to the minors but I could have him locked in if he comes back and pitches well. The minimum bid is $5.00 and the bids start from the bottom up in the standings. I am currently sixth in the 12 team league. I was thinking of going $6.00. Looking at the teams under me they aren't that are big on minor leaguers and may not know much about him. What would you bid to get him? I have $55.00 left for the rest of the season. I don't want to spend to much because of a stud possibly coming to the AL at the trade deadline.

The only stud who might go from the NL to the AL this year is Clemens. And that's iffy, to say the least.

I'd plunk down the $6 for Baker, I think. How many people have more than $49 left, though?

There are seven of us that still have $49.00 or more. A couple have $65.00 or more. I have had my eye on Baker for a while. I think he just need a chance and could be a factor next year.
