My hitters go into to slumps and I worry and whine a bit but nothing out of the usual. When my pitchers stuggle like Oswalt did tonight I swear I feel like puking. I started Penny and he's pitching lights out - don't matter, all that is on my mind is that putz Oswalt - - yes yes he'll be okay, i know, i know. :~( :~( :~(

pitching, at least your batters get a chance within the next day or so to put in a nice performance. The pitcher you have to wait for 5 days, give or take a day, which SUCKS.

Hitters slumping easy for me. If your good pitcher struggles in an outing you know its just an anomily, but if you have a batter slumping for an extended period you debate everyday whether to plug someone else in for him, every time you set a lineup you are worried they are about to breakout out of it. It is especially aggrevating when you bench the guy for the first time and he hits a 3 run bomb.

Another vote for pitching. Especially if it's not only the high ERA and it's also the high whip with barely no Ks. :-t

until one of my hitters goes .1 innings and gives up 7 runs or skips an abat and has 4 rbis taken away from him i will go with pitchers by FAR! A .000 average suddenly looks REALLY good when placed side by side with a 72.89 era. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

pitching for sure, If one of your hitters is in a slump you have 9 or 10 other guys who are going to at least help bring it back up unless theyre all in a slump or something. When you have a pitcher getting shelled that one outing can ruin your ERA and WHIP pretty big and its hard to make up

Bad pitching easily. Watching Perez implode again tonight after using my Trammell-esque gut feelings and starting that @%^#% makes me much more violently ill than any slump.

You have time to take a slumping hitter out of your line-up, but by the time you see Oswalt getting lit up there is nothing you can do but kiss you ERA & WHIP goodbye.
