safe to say Borowski will be closing ????

Hawkins blew another save (& a Prior potential W) today , loaded the bases , 1 out & he cought a line drive from Polance, but treid to double up Offerman at first & hit him in the back of the neck, leading to 2 runs

sucks for Prior owners (like me)

but this should mean Borowski will defintley be closing upon his return (which should be soon)

I would think so, maybe they'll give him 1 or 2 outings before they put him back in the closers roll, but with the way things are going now the second he's off the DL I expect him to be the closer.

Who else is going to do it?

I've held him on my DL of a couple of teams all this time simply because there's no one else who can close. Sure will nice to be able to finally activate him and burn the DL spot on someone else. B-)

Felix Rodriguez of course! ;-)

If JoBo is capable, he's got the job. But that's a big if.

Rotoworld reported that the Cubs want to see Borowski pitch 2 consecutive innings in a game before they activate him. Should be early next week.

After another Hawkins blown save yesterday, I don't see where Baker has any choice but to throw the saver position to Joe B immediately and see what he does with it.
