What kind of league are you in? If u can, I would get Turnbow in there but it looks like you dont have any P spots, only 4 SP and 2 RP. I would trade some SPs for a DH r C because your pitching is great but your hitting needs help

Thanks!

This is a ten team league with some vets and some newbies. Any thoughts on specific positions/players that need upgrading.

I am a little concerned about Berkman and wouldn't mind upgrading Bret Boone -- but 2B is such a tough position to fill.

Thanks for your input.

yeah, boone would be tough to upgrade. I'd work on SS...you can do better than Reyes. Package him and pitching for a great SS.

help me out?

Must be a very small league. Team looks good but its hard to compare when the league is so small. I would trade a big arm for a big bat but it makes it hard when both schilling and wood are DLd. Maybe wait a couple weeks to make a big move.

Check out mine?

This looks like a great team. I'd agree with the others and maybe try to upgrade at the positions, but all in all I think this is a good team ;-D

Nasty Pitching

Postby DeAndre77 » Fri May 06, 2005 4:58 pm

You are solid on that...and you have Bedard and Pinero...real nice....but I agree...you have enough pitching where Pedro alone can get you a Pujois/A-Rod type player...eh....maybe keep Pedro he's the sure thing...cause you have Curt and Ben, Curt's the liability...I would shop maybe Sheets for some good bats....you need one more good bat...because you have about 4 guys that are nasty but slumping...just my opinion. Thanks!

I'd package one of you starters and Boone/Reyes for a top 2B or SS. Even if you can't upgrade, you're a good bet to win the league.

Awesome team. Lot of guys with upside, but lot's of stars too. Great pitching. Boone is probably one of the better 2B you're gonna get, unless you go for Soriano or something. I agree, go after a SS.
