Takatsu throws badly enough to get the save

Did anyone catch the throw behind the batter with two outs in the ninth, 1st and 2nd and a 2-1 count? Behind the batter!?! If he had thrown a little better, he would have loaded the bases.
Is Takatsu a matter of a chance or two from losing his job? As an owner with a trade for him offered for Arroyo, I'm about to say yes and get Takatsu out before he's worthless...

Anyone think the thin ice he's skating on is about to break through?

I'm surprised he's kept the job (or most of it) this long. I think hitters have figured him out since his big first half has year, and from here on out it'll be touch and go. That's why I grabbed Hermanson off FA list a few weeks ago. He's been pitching great and vulturing some saves, and I expect at some point he'll be the full-time closer.
