a stud, no, but a decent #3 fantasy starter? sure. and that pitching coach they've got up in New York, i hear he's pretty good. ;-D

I am high on Benson this year. After the break last year, he shaved a half run off his era and had a 1.17 whip with decent strikeouts. Plus, he had a solid spring.

From 4.42 to 4.19 is not a half a run, but he did obviously improve his WHIP and I think that is more significant. :-]

Benson is overy hyped, and has never done anything in the league to warrant all of the talk about him. He is a weak pitcher, who is overpaid, and the only reason his name ever comes up is because his wife is hot.
