Help my slumping 5x5 team!

I was tearing up my league for the first few weeks, and all of a sudden my hitters stopped hitting and my best pitcher got an ear infection. I've been sliding down in the standings ever since. My league only has 21-man rosters, so I can't bench most of these guys and pick up a hot temp from the FA list, generally. What do I do!?

That's a tough one but I have two suggestios. First, I would say you need to be patient, you have a very potent lineup with established guys (the one's who are starred, minus Beltre who's only had one very good season) that are bound to turn it around and give you a quality season.

Second, if the wait-and-see option doesn't suit your fancy, I'd try to package a guy like Delucci with one of your starters--I'd go with Marquis or Bonderman, but that's me--for a big outfield bat. You have lights-out pitchers on that staff (Peavy, Myers, Sheets, etc) so you can afford the loss. And in a league like yours I'm sure you can pick up a 'sleeper' type...look at Bedard if he hasn't already been snagged, another great outing tonight and he has that awesome lineup behind him.

But as I said, that'd be my second option. I say you stick with what you have cause you have some huge hitters (Tejada, Beltre, Sheffield) to go along with a lights out staff.

Looks like you need some pitching helps.. if you can trade Biggio to upgrade your pitching that'd help you out... your offense is solid just be patience those hitters will come back.. (Wells, Konerko, Beltre) .. I'm kinda suspect Beltre is a fluke or is it becuz of switching league... trade him for Blalock if you can... let's hope they pull for it...any SPs available in FA ? GL to yah!!!

The guy I would worry about would be Beltre.

Isnt that a large park in Seattle too?
