Here is a link for the streaming of the new album on VH1.

http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/dave_matt ... lbum.jhtml

I have gone through the entire album and I have to say it is different, tight, but most importantly a fun album. I have been a fan for 10 years now and I have to say this is the most energy they have put into a studio album since Crash. Lyrics are decent...maybe compatable to BTCS.

My personal Favorites right now has to be Stand up, Everybody Wake up, Hello again, You might die trying, and hunger for the great lights. For those of you checking out DMB at this summer, these songs look like they will be blast to hear.

can't seem to get it to work :-?

It's probably just as well though. I preordered the album ;-D and I've got a ton of work to do. In fact, I've got a programming final in 50 minutes :-o

I heard that DMB allows people to download their live shows? Is this true?

Thanks for the link. I've only heard clips up til now, I'm dying to hear this thing.

As for downloading: I'm pretty sure DMB is okay with taping shows, as long as you don't turn around and sell them. There used to be a site FULL of shows you could download, but I can't remember what it was now.

They used to; I torrented a ton this year, but that's since been shut down. They allow tapers and trading that promotes interaction between fans (B&P- where you mail someone some CD's and they will burn the show in SHN files and send it back to you) not anonymously downloading the shows.

How do you like American Baby? It's real different than their previous stuff, almost reminds me of U2 kind of. My top DMB songs are:

Pig
Loving Wings
Ants Marching (especially the one from the Gorge DVD)
Love of my Life (with Santana)

There isn't much lyrically to American Baby but I do like the song very much.

My favorite has always been the entire Central Park Concert:
Dancing Nancies
Warehouse
Ants Marching

All in a row 8-o 8-o Just amazing.

Throw in Cortez the Killer and an outstanding Jimi Thing not to mention All Along the Watchtower, Stay, What Would You Say and Crush and a bunch more ;-D ;-D ;-D

Storrs from 1999 is a phenominal Davespeak album if you like that ;-D

That is a great disc, even though I already had most of those songs on their OTHER live cd's... ;-7

Anybody going to see them this summer? My girl works at a radio station and she got GREAT seats when they played Nissan Pavilion in Virginia last year. Phenomenal show.

(I'd highly recommend picking up some live Pearl Jam if you like the DMB live discs. I've really been getting into that whole live series PJ did lately, some of those shows are unreal).
