phillies have got to play this kid, he's incredible...they have to deal polanco...well is it worth it to play utley even though his AB's will be inconsistent?

No he doesn't. Ryan Howard needs to play!

referring to polanco means utley at 2nd....and to be diplomatic...and curiousity of this kid's upside...watching howard at first would be a delight....most importantly utley at second...i believe he will be THE premiere power hitting 2b man...a la kent...no? i hear howard screws himself into the ground too many times...

I dumped Canto yesterday figuring that Utley playing 5 days a week would be more productive than Cantu playing 10 days a week.
In the Ryan Howard thread there is a reference to the Phils not being able to trade Polanco until June 15 due to the way his contract is structured. I've been following the Utley/Polanco issue closely and this is the first I've heard of that -- but it may be valid.

I agree with Mookie, Polanco will put up better fantasy numbers than Utley (maybe 10 fewer HRs but 10-15 more SBs and a higher average) if hypothetically each had a full time job.

My sig says it all.
They dont need to deal Polonco as much as they need to shoot bell.
Send that old horse to the glue factory....
Utley or Polonco could both easily play 2nd or 3rd.
Pick one... Put one at 2nd and one on 3rd...
Theres your answer, its not hard... someone call the dugout...

Yeah Chad Utley really needs to start playing over Philip Polanco and perhaps they should get rid of Damon Bell from 3b or even play Chad at 1b now that Jerry Thome had gone on the DL!!!
