Traded M. Mulder and J. Thome to get T. Hudson and D. Lee. That would have to be my favorite, although picking up Hafner off waivers on the 29th for my Util. slot would be a close second, since he has homered in the last three games since then.
My #2 would be trading M. Young and D. Willis for Tejada but it's a distant second because it was in a casual friends league with a guy who has a boner for Dontrelle Willis. It is a great example of "selling high" though.
Haven't made many deals thus far, mostly because it's damn hard to trade when everyone in the league knows what they're doing. However, my best trade by far was sending Jason Schmidt packing for Jake Peavy and J.D. Drew. Ah, yes, I love that one, and I usually don't like being on the business end of a 2-for-1.
i like trading pierre and johnson after johnson's first two solid starts fora then struggling manny, injured prior, and bonderman. manny heated up right away and prior pitched 3 straight great games before the last one. hopefully i'll still be happy about that one at the end of the season. grabbing harden and burnett in most of my drafts has been pretty sweet too. o yeah, picking up barmes as well.
Currently building up a nice, comfortable lead in saves, and then will spin him off for whatever I need.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
