I just watched Borowskis first rehab assignment in Triple-A Iowa. Pitched one inning, 2 K's and then a ground ball out to the 3rd batter on a nice splitter. I think he'll be ready in a week or so.
Good news for the Cubs, bad news for LaTroy owners.

Sweet, snagged him off waivers and stashed on my DL last week. Hopefully he wil be solid and I can deal whip killer Graves.

I did the same thing after Armando Benitez went down. Hopefully he will be named the closer fairly quickly.
I also stashed Borowski away on my DL spot but I'm not going to be convinced just yet. He was average a couple years ago, he sucked the year after that, and then he got hurt. I'll believe it when I see it against Major League hitters. The upside is there (Cubs closer) and that's why I have him but I'm honestly shatting my pants at the thought of putting him in the lineup.
