Kerry looked Ok Today in Rehab Start. Pitched 3 innnings gave up 3 hits and had 3K's. Lets hope he is back within a week or two ;-D

I had heard that KW plans to make 2 more rehab starts. Which means he should be back (hopefully) in 2 weeks.

In his second rehab start tonight his line looked like this...
4IP 2ER 6K 3BB 4H

Control seems off but the stuff looks like it is there, hopefully we'll see him up in Chicago soon. I also heard Prior should be back within the next couple of weeks. Hopefully they can come back ready to go and stay healthy the rest of the season to lead the Cubs to the postseason ;-D

Kerry had a very good first game back today with 9K's in 6 innings! His fastball was hitting 96mph and his breaking ball looked great ;-D

Wow... took me a minute to realize this thread was a year old! The song remains the same.

What do you guys foresee for Wood this season? Will he be even remotely helpful to the Cubs? Is he even worth a fantasy spot? :-?

I forsee an end to his Cub career at the end of this season.

He might be good for 15-18 starts this year. 5-6 of those will be good or really good, 5-6 of those will be decent, 5-6 of those will be just gawd awful. Good luck figuring out which ones are which beforehand.

Next year though, he is a HUGE sleeper. Since he will no longer be a Cub, he will start 30 games, win about 18 of them, and rack up about 275 K's in 220 IP.
