Obviously themed about the other players' pitcher.

For what it's worth, here's MY top 25 starting pitchers age 26 and under:

1. Santana (26)
2. Prior (24)
3. Sheets (26)
4. C. Zambrano (23)
5. Peavy (23)
6. Ol. Perez (23)
7. Harden (23)
8. Zito (26 by 9 days)
9. Beckett (24)
10. Buehrle (26)
11. Bonderman (22)
12. Sabathia (24)
13. Greinke (21)
14. Willis (23)
15. Webb (25)
16. Pineiro (26)
17. Penny (26 by 20 days)
18. Kazmir (21, youngest on the list)
19. Lowry (24)
20. Lackey (26)
21. Marquis (26)
22. Meche (26)
23. H. Ramirez (25)
24. J. Williams (23)
25. Gavin Floyd (22)

Just missed the cut: Cliff Lee (26), Danny Haren (24)

Note: My rankings are based on fantasy impact this season, not untested projections of future performance.

Edit: I added their ages just in case it might be interesting. I also deleted Halladay because I realized I did my math wrong and he's actually 27.

Halladay's 28... Penny's 27... otherwise I like that list. Thank God someone in this thread is giving Zamby his due!

A Harden vs. Peavy K/9 contest? Peavy has the obvious advantage of facing pitchers, so it's obviously not really fair.

But if you want to lose the contest to davidmarver, go ahead ;-D

Halladay is 27. DOB: May 14, 1977. So he turns 28 in 10 days. Either way, he's too old for a 26 and under list and as such you'll see I deleted him and bumped everyone after him up a spot.

Penny is 26. DOB: May 24, 1978. He's still 26 for 20 more days so he makes the list.

Yeah, I don't really get what the deal is either. Maybe a mediocre start is bringing him down a little in people's minds? I am fairly confident he is going to put up better numbers this season than anyone below him on my list besides possibly Peavy.
