ESPN's added dropped is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than cbs's.
CBS is skewed because in all of their public leagues, where you dont control the rosters, you have a VERY limited bench and no DL spot, so you see injured players dropped all the time, and ownership of studs commonly low. Its next to worthless

Sportsline (CBS) has a Most Activated/Deactivated list as well, for this very reason- it's a link on top of the default Roster Trends view. Much more useful for pay leagues
