They just don't tell everyone exactly what drug that player used...obviously it's some kind of "performace enhancing drug".

I read from someone on here (TheYanks04, I think) that the reason they do this is because if they flat out say, "Juan Rincon took steroids" then he would be legally liable for using an illegal drug. Therefore they don't announce what he used specifically to protect the player from legal charges. Not quite positive if this is really the reason, but it makes logical sense.

This is much more of a fantasy bombshell than it is a real baseball bombshell. Still, I'm actually very interested in seeing which other names get revealed. Just wait until the hype machine/peice of crap/6pm edition of sportscenter edition gets its hands on this story. We'll be hearing about it right after the latest breaking story of how Barry Bonds threw a pebble into the ocean today. Then it will be big news.

They do in the Olympics. I meant that it's not "performance enhancing" in the real world (unless the player is rewarded with Candy Bars), but in many athletic tests, it falls under performance enhancing drugs.

If not, does MLB even test for marijuana? I'm really new to this all so if anyone could explain it, that would rule!

And? Big deal. Asterisk their records too. We aren't basing records on the current batter vs. the current pitcher. Records have historic value.
