AOL INSTANT MESSANGER VIRUS?

I got an IM from a friend today that said....hey check out this .

The 'this' was a link, so I clicked it and it downloaded some thing and now when I sign on AIM, it uncontrollably sends that message to people on my buddy list. It happens non-stop so I can't even IM them to tell them what's going on or anything.

I uninstalled AIM on my computer twice and re-installed and it still comes back after a while. I ran Ad-Aware, but it's still there.

What do I do?

Continually. It's almost impossible to even sign off, as new IMs keeps flashing.

Thank god I'm not on your buddy list . Next time, check links before you click on them. And did the person who sent it, is he your friend in real life? If so, punch him in the groin the next time you see him.

I checked the link it was disguised though, and I'm friends with the kid in real life so I figured it was just some funny thing. I don't think he meant to send it to me, just like I didn't mean to send it to all the people it went to. It's weird it just kept sending itself out to all my buddies.

I ran the AIMFix thing and rebooted and stuff. I've tried it a few times and it says searching for Known Viruses, then it says complete, without showing any viruses, so I guess I'm all set.
