Ok, so it was only the Mariners, but can he turn it around?
yes he has been very good and his stuff has been nasty.
3 starts ago VS Anaheim, he had a shut out into the 7th inning gave up a couple of earned runs.
2 starts ago vs Seattle, he made 1 bad pitch to Bret boone resulting in a grand slam. Then he pitched the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th inning lights out shutting the M's down.
1 start ago vs CWS, he dominated them into the 7th inning, where his pitch count was over 100, and macha left him in too long he gave up a bloop single, another single, and then Everett hit one down the line, and before zito knew it he gave up 4ER
Today vs the Mariners, he was again pitching great, in fact he should have only given up 1ER because Swisher smashed nto the wall and went to the ground in a world of hurt, it took him forever to throw the ball which allowed the runner to get a triple. then then next guy flew out (sac fly) and a ground out after that.
i still project zito
15 wins
3.75 era
1.20 whip
170 k's
First year I've owned him since winning his Cy Young. He really hasn't pitched so badly as been unlucky and never had a lead to protect. If his K's stay above 150 I expect he'll be decent to own.
Nice to see him come through with a 'W' tonight finally. I expect some ups and downs from him, but he should be worth my 10th round pick. I heard he had a new pitch he was using this year, a 'slurve' - any A's fans with a view on how it is working out?
I'm also on the Patterson bandwagon probably for the final time tonight. People are starting to dump struggling bats and I've given myself a bit of a cushion in pitching. I set him to the wire and used my priority on Huff (4 position eligibility RF, LF, 1B, 3B - are they nuts?).

And WHY is Huff on your wire?! What sort of league is this?
I agree with your assessment of the league. That said, how can you get anything trading Patterson is a league where a guy like Huff gets cut??
In fact, he has no choice. If he takes the time to search out a deal for Patterson, someone else may lay claim to Huff. You can't offer a guy in a deal if you also have put him in part of a waiver claim.

Yes, they are completely loony tunes.
Get Huff!
