Burgos or Hermanson

I 'm new here and need some closer advice for a 5x5 league.
Armando Benitez was my stud closer and obviously he went down.
Should I pick up Hermanson or Burgos to replace him because that's about the only to guys out there on our waiver wire at the moment.
I'm kinda leary about Hermanson because the White Sox other closer seems to have pretty good stats.
So who do I grab?

Burgos. He's the closer in KC.

Takatsu is still the closer in Chicago, but Hermansen might steal a few saves here are there from him.

Since you're new here...I'll give you an answer before this thread is closed...these posts belong in Draft, Keeper, Trade etc. since you're asking who to get of the two.

I'd take Dustin Hermanson, simply because he's shown that he's a better pitcher. He's been effective out of the pen since late last year, even though Hermy was just an average starter. Burgos' Royals don't generate many save opps (even though the myth of better team=more saves is a myth, the Royals just don't get it done) and Burgos was prematurely rushed to the bigs this year. His command is very shaky and thus he'll implode here or there. Hermanson may not be the closer for the entire year and he may not even be the closer right now because Ozzie's doing hell knows what, but he's definitely the better pickup.

Edit: Guru, it appears like Hermanson SHOULD be the closer, at least for now, after last night.

Wasn't Hermansen suppose to be the closer in Chicago about 2 weeks ago? That never panned out as Shingo got his job back.

Shingo is gunna have some bad outings all year but I think he'll still keep the closer job.

Just because Hermansen got the save last night doesn't mean he is the closer now.

Hermanson sat out a few games last week with back stiffness. I ended up dropping him but I picked him right back up yesterday after he got the save.
