Mike Hampton, .250+ batting average, with 14 yes, FOURTEEN career home runs.
Or Dontrelle Willis, in his third year, with an average over .200 with 3 home runs.
Or someone else?

Yeah.. this "fantasy guru" thing is just a user name, folks.

I'd say that Hampton's best for now...until D-Train proves otherwise...and he may.
Other good ones are:
Jason Jennings- .255-.636 OPS-2 HR
Carlos Zambrano- .209-.533 OPS-3 HR
Livan Hernandez- .234-.559 OPS-6 HR
There are some that were two way players in college and HS. Zack Greinke was a 3-4 round pick had he been an SS, so his bat was probably fairly decent, though he's had no work on it for years and doesn't bat in the AL.
Here's an interesting article on two-way players that played in college. Some of the hitters now really could pitch and some of the pitchers really raked:
Dreifort
Helton
Hudson
Jennings
Kieschnick
Kingman
Kotsay
Olerud
Wilkerson
Winfield

That's a month ago. I don't visit this section of the forum very often, so I didn't see it.

Livan Hernadez has always been pretty solid at the plate.
Nothing like Babe Ruth back in the day though.
