Mark Kotsay is one of those guys who is a extremly valuable almost superstar player in REAL Baseball. In fantasy he is nothing speical at all.

But in real baseball, he is EXTREMLY valuable. He is one of the best lead off men in the game, he sets the table, he plays a gold glove center field, Mark Kotsay is one of the best "hitters" in baseball.

You nailed it on the head. Great player in real baseball. Borderline in most standard fantasy formats.

He also led MLB in outfield assists over a three year span. He's an excellent, reliable fielder, and a soild hitter...just not fantasy friendly.
