Who'd have thought. You pick up this back-up guy for the freaking Brewers four days ago, you get 3 saves, a win, a 0.00 ERA and a less than 1 WHIP......and 4 K's.

Honestly, I had no idea who this guy was 2 weeks ago. But, he has helped me out tremendously this week.

Yes he is, for now. His control is not good though. Honestly, I don't think he's hit the catcher's target once. Once some of those missed targets turn into more walks and/or belt-high fastballs in the wheelhouse, he's going to struggle a bit. As a fan, it's like a 98 mph heart attack with every pitch he throws. But, I'll ride his run for now and be prepared for Adams or Wise to get the job sometime later.

Thanks for the heads up. From Miami he looks like 2002's Mariano Rivera.

Just read this on the Journal-Sentinel:
Because Turnbow had a history of control problems, Maddux suggested a few alterations to his throwing motion. "He used to drop real straight down and drive to the plate," Yost said. "(Now) he's letting the mound give him momentum and take him to the plate." So far, the changes seem to be working. "I think the more work I get, the more I'm able to hit my spots," Turnbow said.
