Adding Bonds losing Barmes?

Postby tness » Sun May 01, 2005 12:40 am

Would trading Barmes for Bonds help my team? What else can I do to help my team long term?

i'd do it. move reyes to SS and insert Hafner at your IF spot. when/if bonds returns he's great. and how much longer can barmes keep this up?

I'm a huge Barmes fan but with Reyes and Hafner as your replacements you're not going to lose too much even if he DOES have a nice breakout season (which isn't certain at all - he may be talented but he IS a rookie).

So if Bonds doesn't come back at all at worst you've lost some flexibility. If he does come back and he's anything close to what he was last year...well, the results of that are obvious.
