They say Kerry Wood's mechanics get him in a lot of trouble. Make him very injury prone.

I don't understand why the hell they don't just make him a closer already. Their bullpen is terrible, he keeps hurting himself as a starter, friggin' do it already.

Maybe they'll do it when Brownlie is ready.

Hell, I've been singin' this tune for at least a couple years. Tons of talent, no doubt, but he's damaged goods. And he's still never been a big winner. For the record, 97 pitchers have won 15 or more games in a season since Kerry Wood's arrival. He's not one of them.

His 2003 was an insane year, don't forget that. So he can start for a whole year. I'm not so sure making him a reliever is the best use of his abilities...besides the skaky first, he was lights out for 2 innings then ran into the injury. Get a pitching coach who can work with him to fix his mechanics, and get him back as a starter. The potential is there, the stuff is there, the mechanics are off.

He burned me last year. I wont draft him until he puts up 1.5 injury free seasons.

So it goes with Kerry Wood. Like I said, I usually don't own him because he is drafted higher than I value him.

Still though, 6 K's in 3 innings of work? I actually hope he does stink it up this year so I can steal him next year and have him explode.
