What does everyone think of Ramirez for the remainder of the season? He played last night but I read that the Cubs are taking it easy with him due to some sort of groin injury. Do you think the guys will stay healthy and have a season similar to last year?
Thanks!

He seems to be turning it around a little bit. He started out terribly, but it looks to me like he's coming out of it. He's also striking out alot less than he was in the begining of the year. I don't know about the injury, but hopefully it's nothing too bad. I'd rather have the Cubs let him heal now for later in the year.

2005
Aramis without injury: .330 120 45 130 2
Aramis with groin injury: .280 90 25 90 1
I'm afraid it's the latter
Bold Predictions:
Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position
Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs
Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

I'll settle for the w/groin injury numbers, to tell you the truth.

On second thought, bump the RBI/Runs down to about 80.
However, there is a silver lining to this. Next year he'll be grossly undervalued if the injury heals. Think the hitter version of this year's Roy Halladay.

Though are some freakin high numbers for without injury Aramis. I mean, .330, 45 HRs and 130 RBIs? That's basically calling him Pujols.

I think there should be some serious concern for Aramis this year. This groin injury everyone is referencing is in fact hindering him, and he originally injured it LAST year. And it's still bothering him?

That to me should be an area of concern ... is this going to be with him indefinitely.
