I hope you're right, although his current slump concerns me a bit. I drafted him in one league, traded for him in 2 others, expecting a monster year ... :-o

I'd take Gary over Hideki any day. Better numbers in every category. This coming from a Yankee fan.

Obviously, but Sheffield went in the 2nd round, and Hideki went in like the 7th...the number will be comparable by years end.

I wouldn't worry yet. He's always been a fairly streaky hitter. I just hope he gets hot again soon.
