what sort of projections could i reasonably expect from the guy? he's doing decently so far and has eligibility in lots of spots so would he be a good pickup?

As much as I love Geoff Blum, the team is too fixed on Sean Burroughs playing. While I think Blum should play this season, until Burroughs figures out what a double is, it's just not going to happen. In the meantime, he'll be seeing regular time until Khalil gets back, but when you add in the Petco effect and the fact that the Padres have been hitting poorly lately, he's not that great of a play. Still better than Burroughs, though.
