Im kind of hoping they do for a short time so I can pick up Borowski without dropping anyone.

Same here...it's nice having that extra freedom. I'd like to be able to bring Berkman back of the DL without dropping anybody. ;-D

For those of you interested, Sheets was placed on the DL today. So fill that extra roster space tomorrow!!! ;-D

hes retroactive to April 21st, hes eligible to come off as early as May 6th. So it means he only missed about 2 starts. I am not too mad b/c now I picked up Julian Tavarez.

It's looking like Sheets won't be able to make his May 6 start, as he continues to feel "sluggishness and dizziness" from his ear inflammation. Who knows when he'll feel better, but I picked up Dempster in hope that he can be the closer consistently for the Cubs, so that'll give me time to tell!!! ;-D

No one's sure when he'll be back, it's literally day to day. Whenever he can get up/turn his head/etc without falling down, stumbling, and just generally feeling dizzy, I'm sure they'll start getting him ready to return.

I know he was scratched for this weekend's start, so is it a safe bet that he will still be on the DL come Monday?

I'd like to pick up Brazoban for the week, but if Sheets is activated before my deadline, I would be screwed with an illegal lineup because of an extra pitcher. Our rules settings are such that if you pick a player out of FA, they must be on the roster for a week. With only one BN spot, choosing who/when to make claims can be tricky.

I really need the help with saves and honestly would rather be able to keep Sheets on the DL through next week. I assume the Brewers will not activate him until right before his next start - so the question is when will that be?? I hate to lose Brazoban to someone with a quicker finger. Any ideas?
