If you haven’t placed him on your DL slot and you have room...give it a shot. It looks like he has less than a 2 week time table to return. He will see DAILY closing opportunities with the struggling Cubs bullpen. Get him while you can.

KFFL - Apr 29 The Chicago Sun-Times' Mike Kiley reports Chicago Cubs RP Joe Borowski (wrist) will pitch another simulated game either April 30 or May 1 at Minute Maid Park before being sent on a minor-league rehab assignment. Cubs pitching coach Larry Rothschild wanted to see Borowski throw one more time to build up his strength before allowing him to face minor-league hitters.

The hope is that he will be THE closer for the season... if he has a slow start I speculate that he and hawkins will switch back and forth through the year.

I have him stahsed on the DL on 3 different teams. I sure hope he remains the Cubs' closer for the rest of the season :*)
