Are you sure about that? I don't watch wrestling anymore but I'm pretty sure he is still touring... not bad for a dead guy....

I was sure that I read that a while back, but maybe I'm wrong. Must have been some other 80s heal. I tried googling his name for an obituary but couldn't find one. Did find this ammusing wrestling death pool which still has Jake on people's lists:

Looks like he was around at least two months ago.

Not to bust anyone's bubble, but Jake "The Snake" Roberts is far from dead. He recently appeared on WWE's Raw (about 3-4 weeks ago). He's not dead. He did get charged and convicted of animal abuse due to the way he treated his snakes, but didn't get the death penalty for it. Jake is very much alive and currently touring various wrestling organizations.

Steroids got pretty much phased out back with the government too Vince McMahon to court for supposedly giving out steroids. I'm sure the owner of a multi-billion dollar company is keeping steroids out, rather than run the risk of losing the company. Are there a few users? Sure, most likely anyway, but it's definitely not a rampant problem.

As to Candido, that sad :,-( . I had just read about the broken foot a few days ago. They are saying now that it's most likely a staph infection or a blood clot that caused his death:

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I just realized that I was thinking about Rick Rude! Sorry about that. He's the one who's dead.

They die because of all the steroids they were on when they "wrestled".
