I'm in no way saying that this guy is going to set the world on fire, but McPherson does seem to be heating up a bit since the first week after his recall.
He has doubled in all three of his most recent games against the Yankees and has K'd only once in his past 11 ABs (3 games). So at minimum he is at least seeing the ball well -- which is more than I can say for my starting 3B, Eric Chavez.
And with 30 ABs thus far, he's due for a dinger or two in the next week.
Ya I have him in my keeper league, he is slowly making some impact but is still yet to actually breakout, Im sure with mor etime though hell be a great player
Screw the Peavy and Burnett Watches, I'm probably one of the laziest people in the world
you know, I am playing tracey and randa at 3rd and CI. Larry walker on the bench -- with a stacked OF. it is untihinkable to cut walker, take mcpherson and insure myself?

That's tough, especially cause I hope you're not counting on Randa for the rest of the season. Personally I would say yes, figuring you wouldn't have much trouble grabbing a replacement player of Walker's stature from the WW when Randa falls apart if McPherson isn't ready to go. But that more depends on the quality of your WW than anything else.

i don't want to derail this thread too much -- but I guess my thought was that when the wheels fall of randa, I could just start bagwell at CI and move chad tracey to third. no biggie though.
