Extreme Makeover - My Team (Rate Me, I Rate You)

Postby Super Manny » Fri Apr 29, 2005 5:31 am

In the past few weeks, my roster has undergone some major changes. I just wanted everyone's opinion on how I stand, and what improvements I can make, if any.

Closing pitching is still a bit of a soft spot, I know. I made a trade last week for Armando Benitez, AKA Mr. Out for Four Months, which has since blown up in my face. I ended up dropping Mando and have chosen to go for the quantity over quality approach. Free agent pick-ups of Turnbow and Burgos give me five closers to pick and choose from on a daily basis, based on matchups.

If you rate my team and give me some insight, kindly leave a link, and I'll try to return the favor. Thanks.

Hey Super Manny,

I wish I could tell you how you rate, but I am new to Fantasy Baseball and I am still trying to get a feel for the way it's played.

I can relate to your disapointment in the Armando Benitez (drafted in 7th round by me) injury as well as the one to Curt Schilling.

Huff and Pujols are not kicking it into high gear just yet, but I am positive they will. I sure hope Huff get's his act together as he is a traditionally slow starter. I watch a lot of baseball so I hope I am making the right assesments.

I don't think I helped you much but at least you got my opinion. Your team seems solid but it all depends on what the other teams have too right? Well Good Luck in your season.
