The Rockies are in the bottom third of the league in home runs hit. The Mets aren't hopping on the Moneyball bandwagon, at least as far as their leadoff spot is concerned. And to nobody's great surprise, a Cubs starter has the highest pitch count in the majors.
With stats as disparate as these, it must be time for the latest edition of Notes and Numbers from around the league!
Must’ve Gotten a Bad Call That One Time Minnesota’s Brad Radke (1-3) has allowed just one walk in his first 33.2 innings pitched. (Carlos Guillen was the batter.)
Yeah, but his strikes are getting crushed. Yes, I own him too.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
What Coors Effect? The Rockies have hit just 16 home runs this season despite playing 11 of their 19 games at Coors field. Twenty-two teams have mashed more round-trippers than Colorado, led by Texas with 31.
I'm starting to think that the Coors Effect has as much to do with the Rockies crappy staff as the altitude.
And I'm probably still forgetting some of the guys who I grew frustrated with and either traded or cut.
It's been a very rough start to say the least. Especially when I've got quite a few of those guys on multiple teams.

Lol.
Even with this slow start, I'm going to win my leagues anyway because that's what experts do.
