Will Walter Young be good in the Bigs?

Will Walter Young be good in the Majors? Or will he be Calvin Pickering part deux? Also, is he next in line to play 1b for the O's? He's somewhat old for a minor leaguer also....

I'd say he is better then Pickering, he could be an avg. 1B/DH with power ... though I doubt he will ever be that good.

Have you seen what he is doing in the minors lately? He is crushing the ball. Pickering can't hold his jock. I am grabbing him and stashing him on my minor reserve bench. You'll be sorry if you don't to.

Yeah I've seen what he is doing, he is hitting a bunch of singles and showing very little power in AAA as a 25 year old. I don't find that very impressing, after all it's only been 60 some AB's.

The Rays AA team have a 23 year old SS that was hitting .450, people get off to good starts ... always happens to a few.
