But seriously, this guy could be a solid major leaguer...he hit well in the minors from what I have read. He is hitting .300 on the road this year in 30 AB (vs. .500 at home in 46 aB)...although all 4 homers have come at home and all but 2 of his 14 rbis have come at home...

Barmes is definitely a solid player and could be a decent everyday player in the future. But ya I would rather have sheff right now obviously, Coors also might have something to do with it but I think he is hitting pretty good away from Coors. Does anyone know his home/away splits?

barmes is your 2005 nl rookie of the year...but he's hitting four hundred so you're going to have to stomach a substantial cold streak or a long stretch of poor play at some point because there's obviously no chance he hits that. lets hope he hits over .300 on the year
