The real million dollar question..how long will Herges last?

Moderator: Baseball Moderators

How long will Matt Herges remain "the" closer (as the right handed portion of the committe)?

He'll suck badly enough before his first opportunity that Felipe will come to his senses

We don't know what Alou is going to do. He even said so himself today. So I think it's a bit premature to announce Herges as the RH closer of the committee.

I think that if Alou has any long-term memory left Herges isn't going to be the closer. The guy was brutal last year.

ya know, there are so many instances when we "baseball watchers" think we know more than the manager HOWEVER this is one case in which we do..matt herges should NEVER be given the ball in the 9th inning unless the giants are ahead by 9 runs or trail by 9 runs
