what's up with zach day?

does anyone with extra innings or into the rockies know what happened w/zach day? ESPN.com and cbs.sportsline.com are reporting that he was relieved by claudio vargas in the third inning after he issued a walk. i haven't seen any notes on it, but the negative part of me thinks this is some sort of an injury.

the yahoo game updater says vlad hit him home in the top of the 3rd. Maybe he injured himself sliding home?

No, I was just reading from the Sportsline game scoreboard. Maybe he has been greasing the ball all along, which explains him coming from nowhere.

Turns out he developed a blister on his finger during the game and between innings tried to cover it with glue. The glue didn't work and he tried to rub it off, and the umpires saw him and had him ejected. So he's actually not a cheat, just someone who wasn't aware of the rules.
