In the three leagues I'm in I drafted Brian Roberts in the last round in everyone of them. Wow am I looking good. Anyway you heard it here first Brian Roberts will hit 30-35 Homeruns this year not the 10 -15 I am hearing.

Mark my words Roberts will be a 30 -30 guy by years end!!

I heard is somewhere else first and I'm still not buying it. I own Roberts in 2 league and couldn't be happier but he isn't going to hit 30 HR.

you cant be serious he is young and is entering his prime now which allows for his sudden power surge

It's the first month of the season. Odd things happen. You think the Yankees are going to be in last place in September? You think the White Sox will win nearly 75% of their games this year? Just because that's the way things are going now doesn't mean that they'll continue.

Roberts will have a good year, but he's going to cool down. No doubt about it. Prepare for a couple of cold stretches in July or August now with a backup and you'll be happy. Count on him exclusively for this kind of continued production and you'll regret it.
Keep wreves in General Talk in 2011!

I dont understand why everyone is saying he wont, he will be a 30 -30 and a serious contender for 40 -40. You heard it here first!

wow, you are stupid. 40-40, waht a joke. Only one person in the MLB has any kind of shot at that (ABreu) 30-30 would be a miracle. Shoot for 20-40

Maybe cause he is already slowing down.
8 HR in April
2 so far in May
No one should expect him to keep up the pace he set in April.
