How does my team look now?

Well, for someone who really didn't know what he was doing (and maybe still doesn't), I have now massaged my team since draft day to where I think I'm satisfied with just about everyone. I mean, not everyone is the best player in the league for their position, and in fact I probably have fewer name-brand players than other teams do, but I think nearly everyone can at least pull their weight, and so far they're doing the job for me.

Still, your insights on this forum have been very helpful in making some of the decisions I've made and identifying weaknesses I didn't see, so I'm posting what will I hope will be my roster for at least a little while, for you to find the flaws in. Thanks for your thoughts, and thanks to those of you who have commented on earlier rosters and trade decisions.

You're in good shape with several Multi-position players, so you will likely not have a problem filling up a roster.

Your OF looks a little soft. Beyond Vlad and Matsui, you don't have a sure thing. You have 3 other guys who are decent, but I would try to package them for one stud. You have plenty of pitching, so you could package Clemens (he has to fall apart sometime) and Anderson or Guillen for a top tier OF. This also opens a roster spot to get someone off Waivers. If you're in a 10-team league, the WW is probably wide open. If it's a 12-team league you may need to take a chance on someone.

Thanks for your thoughtful opinion. As for your team, it's hard for me not to like it, being that we share six players in common! It looks very solid all around. Your starting pitching is enviable, except I I'd like Perez' ERA to be lower. I'd also like another closer -- Shields is very solid, but he won't get you saves. K-Rod and Cordero will, but they've got to get the opportunities, which is why I like to have three closers. I'd probably trade Lugo and someone else to try to get a decent closer. But all in all it looks like a solid and well-balanced team, especially considering you're in a 12-team league, and I really like your pitching. How have you been doing in your league?

It should be noted that I'm a bigtime newbie so you should take these thoughts with a couple lumps of salt.
