Matt Clement: Do I drop him or ride it out?

I was pretty high on him coming into this year. But he's been pretty eratic. He first two starts were ordinary at best, the next two were great & now the debacle from last night.
Am I just pushing the panic button too sooon on him or am I on track with my thinking? Names like Haren, Bedard, Eaton & Westbrook are all available on waivers. Do I hold on to Clement and try to use him when he is not pitching agains teams like the 'Yanks & O's or do I dump him now and pick up one of the younger pitchers?
